Misguided

The survival of this young settlement is in your hands. As the people who make up its council, it's your decisions that will keep your people safe, your decisions that will determine its growth, and your decisions that will shape its future.

Misguided is a tabletop hidden roles game about democracy and survival for 5-13 players. Throughout the game, you'll act as the council of a small, growing settlement. You'll hold elections to choose your leaders, those leaders will select resolutions to Events that challenge the settlement, and you'll put your support behind those leaders. Everything you do, from voting a new leader in to refusing to support any chosen resolution will impact both the settlement and the players. The council is not without bias, however: each member of the council has an Agenda, determining how they'll act and what goals they're secretly working towards.

Misguided features two ways to play:

• In Divided, the players' Agendas are paramount. Defy each other, deceive each other, and even undermine the survival of the settlement as long as it furthers your goal.
• In United, the players' Agendas dictate how they act—but the survival of the settlement is your focus. Work together to keep your people going so that when a tragedy hits, you make it out alive and united.

The game is played with a 52 card deck of playing cards and pen and paper or a set of 3 types of tokens. The game book includes rules for both ways to play the game, the 26 total Agendas (13 for each game mode), the 39 Events that your council will encounter, and features art by Sean Walsh. Misguided also includes individual downloads for the Agendas and the Events for easy access or printing.
